Connecting the electric towel warmer

Connecting the electric towel warmer to the hidden wiring.
In the modern world of new technologies and the need for energy saving – choosing a designed radiator with a dry flexible heating element inside is a sensible and practical solution. Moreover, if you paid attention to this issue in advance, it is possible to bring the wiring directly to the towel warmer.

That is, when you order the model “for concealed wiring”, you get a designed radiator that does not have an electric plug, and there is an output of 3 wires that must be connected directly to the electric cable in the wall, and the heat power regulator( On / off control) is placed on the bottom shelf of the designed radiator. Believe, it looks very aesthetic!

Algorithm for the installation and connection of an electrical

towel warmer is as follows:

1. Make measurements, marking and fixing the design radiator to the wall using the fasteners (cups) that come with the product.

2. Connect electrical cables and their insulation!!! Otherwise put the plug into the
power socket – if you have such model.

It is easy as one, two, three…

And so it looks like a regulator of thermal power (it’s a switch-switch), located on the heated towel rail for concealed wiring.

Water towel warmers, of course, are unbeaten leaders in heat transfer. However, they have a significant disadvantage – they are completely dependent on the heating system. If you have thought about all the pros and cons, and made the best decision, the next question is the installation and connection of the design radiator.

  1. After measuring and marking, fix on the wall the fasteners (cups) that come complete with the product.
  2. Attach the heated towel rail to the fasteners.
  3. Connect the designed radiator to the heating system using special cranes (stylish square cranes can be purchased separately – specify when ordering).

That is all! Just use and enjoy!

Tips for choosing a towel dryer

Everything flows, everything changes … As they say, you cannot argue with progress. We have already got used to new technologies and unexpected design decisions practically in all branches of our life, beginning from gadgets, finishing with cars, houses and objects of daily use. In addition, as you know, attention to details is very important!

Then why are we selecting exquisite tiles and modern plumbing when making repairs in our beloved, cozy home, as a rule, do not pay enough attention to such an important interior item as a towel warmer? We choose it on a residual principle. Nevertheless, it is the radiator that captures visitors’ eyes, carries a double load – as an element of design and heating system! Undoubtedly, in a modern house, it must be beautiful, refined, stylish, and, of course, carry out its functions qualitatively – to have high heat output and low power consumption. Still, if possible, an acceptable price, but this question each buyer will decide by himself.

So, let us consider the main types of towel warmers, which in the modern market are innumerable. At what should you pay attention firstly? Of course, at the beginning you need to decide which type of heating to choose. Today, there are 3 options:

♦ water, classic, reliable, to which we are all used to, but unfortunately, heats only in the cold season, when the general heating system works. This is its peculiarity. If necessary, a water towel of our production can be additionally equipped with cranes of a square cross-section, with all the proportions of the designed radiator retained (as in the photo). All the nuances need to be specified when ordering.

♦ electric with a tubular electric heating element. As a rule, a non-freezing liquid (antifreeze) is poured inside, which allows to use this towel at any time of the year, even if the room is not constantly heated (cottages, rest houses, boarding houses, bathhouses, etc.). Taking into account the necessary “tuning”, the price of this radiator is approximately $ 50 more than the cost of a water analog. We use electric heaters of European production with a power of 300 W, while the required temperature can be set with the built-in power regulator;

♦ electric model with dry heating flexible element. The main advantage of this type of radiator is the lack of liquid inside and economical consumption of electricity (for example, the maximum power consumption of a design radiator of 500×700 mm is 70 W per hour – as in a conventional incandescent bulb). Such a towel warmer is not much more expensive than a water towel, but it can give heat all the year round. All models are equipped with heat power regulators. It also provides connection directly to the hidden wiring (in this case, the power regulator, also the switch-switch, is located on the heated towel rail). The final stage for such product can be powder painting, then the final price will pleasantly surprise you (pay attention to the White models). You can choose the color – on request.
